Razor Crest Gunship

After having watched and enjoyed Disney's new Mandalorian show, I decided to do a write-up of the bounty hunter's spaceship. Here's my first impression of the Razor Crest Gunship!

Notes:
In Episode 2 it becomes apparent that there is a second passenger seat in the cockpit, so I' updated the layout accordingly.

Asp

Here's my MP write-up for Asp, a member of Marvel's evil Serpent Society! This write-up reflects her Bronze Age abilities.

In Asp's first appearance (Captain America #310, 1985), she and several other snake-themed villains are recruited into the Serpent Society by Seth Voelker, aka Sidewinder.

Asp constantly generates invisible toxins within her body which can slowly affect those around her. Long term exposure to Asp would almost certainly kill any normal person.

Asp can temporarily deplete this toxic buildup by channeling it into ranged bursts of energy, which can kill (Electric Bolt) or paralyze (Paralysis Ray). She can only do this a few times before her energy is depleted.

Sidewinder

Here's my MP write-up for Sidewinder, the original leader of Marvel's evil Serpent Society! This write-up reflects his Bronze Age abilities. Sidewinder first appeared in issue #64 of Marvel Two-In-One (1980) and was created by Mark Gruenwald, Ralph Macchio and George Perez.

Seth Voelker was an economics professor who lost his job and was subsequently hired by the Roxxon Oil corporation as a financial analyst. It was while going through their books that he learned of their illegal activities. Rather than report their crimes he decided that he wanted to experience the thrills of being a criminal, and so joined their ranks of super-villains as Sidewinder!

Roxxon scientists surgically implanted a cybernetic chip within his brain. He was also equipped with a cloak that allowed him to teleport, a suit that allowed him to breath underwater, and four mini-drones (stored within his belt) that could deliver powerful electrical blasts. Because of the chip, he could teleport his body parts with no ill effects.

If Sidewinder is knocked unconscious, his cybernetic chip will randomly teleport his body within line of sight. Due to the continual teleporting, his unconscious body also gains a 9 Physical Defense.

Sidewinder and his team of snake-themed villains did succeed in retrieving the Serpent Crown, which he delivered to company president Hugh Jones, but he soon left Roxxon and formed his own super group, the Serpent Society!

New MP Ability: Cybernetic Chip

Mental Ability X) Cybernetic Chip

This Continual Ability gives the character a surgically implanted computer chip that operates similarly to a Vehicle Robot Brain system. Because it is inside the character's brain it cannot be broken, taken, or disarmed under normal combat conditions.

The cybernetic chip shares the character's IN and CL, has access to the character's senses, and knows what the character knows (as per Telepathy, Verbal & Indirect). The chip can control the character's body and has access to the character's abilities.

This Ability costs (15) CPs. PR = 0 per round.

Notes:
1. I used a modified version of Duplication as the basis for this Ability.

New MP Ability: Body Part Removal

Physical Ability X) Body Part Removal

For (10) CPs, this ability allows the character to remove their body parts which continue to operate with no ill effects. It takes an Action to remove a body part.

A link, whose special effect is determined when the ability is bought, exists between the character and the removed body part. This link allows the character to control, and gain the benefits of, the body part at any range.

Separated body parts may move depending on their function. For example, a hand or arm may crawl, a leg may hop, and an eyeball may roll.

Generally, there is a penalty for hitting removed body parts due to their smaller size. The part itself has a 0 Physical Defense. For arms and legs the to hit penalty is @-3. For Heads, hands, and feet the to hit penalty is @-6. For eyes, noses, and tongues the to hit penalty is @-9.

Any damage done to the body part is felt by the character and may be rolled with. If the body part takes hit point damage, the character must make an EN+7 save at a penalty of -1 per Hit taken or lose the use of the body part until it is healed or repaired.

This is a Persistent Ability. PR = 0 per round.

Death Adder

Here's my MP write-up for Death Adder, a member of Marvel's evil Serpent Society! This write-up reflects his Bronze Age abilities.

Death Adder has several possible attacks: he can slash with his grafted-on claws, swipe with his cybernetically-controlled tail, or use his poisons on either attack. He has two different types of poisons: one that kills and one that paralyzes. He also carries in his belt an antidote to his poisons (Negation).

His claws, tail, gloves, and suit are all breakable.

His suit provides protection from attacks and also helps him survive the crushing depths underwater. His surgically-implanted gills allow him to breathe indefinitely underwater.

Black Mamba

Here's my MP write-up for Black Mamba, a member of Marvel's evil Serpent Society! This write-up reflects her Bronze Age abilities.

Black Mamba generally prefers to attack her victims while they are unaware of her presence. She first scans her target to find a memory of a loved one. Shen then utilizes her Shaping ability to create an image of that person (the shape uses it's own shape-shifting ability to assume the correct form).

The shape, now in the form of the target's loved one, will use it's Emotion Control ability to cause the victim to be in a euphoric state.

The shape can also siphon Endurance from it's victim or crush the life out of it with super-human strength.

Due to the psychic link between Black Mamba and her created shape (also known as her "darkforce skin"), one half of any damage done to the shape is taken by Black Mamba.

Most of the time, Black Mamba will have her four companion snakes coiled around her body, and delaying their action until a foe is within striking distance.

Notes:
1. When Black Mamba activates her Shaping ability, she usually spends 3 Power, creating a human-sized shape with the following stats: weighs 1341 pounds, SR 15, a volume of 1.67 cubic feet, and has 20 hits.

Bushmaster

Here's my MP write-up for Bushmaster, a member of Marvel's evil Serpent Society! This write-up reflects his Bronze Age abilities.

Cybernetic Arms Destroyed

Notes:
1. Bushmaster's cybernetic tail lets him run, or rather slither, at 32/128, which is far faster than his ground movement of 19".
2. His cybernetic tail gives Bushmaster an overall length of 14 feet, giving him a profile of x1.6.

Anaconda

Here's my MP write-up for Anaconda, a member and former leader of Marvel's evil Serpent Society! This write-up reflects her Bronze Age abilities.

Anaconda Sheet Image
Notes:
1. As I've read more of the source material I've found that Anaconda is much stronger than I initially believed her to be. So, I've changed her stats a bit, raising her ST from 24 to 30 and lowering her EN a bit.

Crystal

Here's my MP write-up for Crystal, a member of Marvel's Inhumans, and her pet "dog", Lockjaw! This write-up reflects their Silver and Bronze Age abilities.

Crystal Sheet Image

Notes:
1. Lockjaw's telepathy is used to track down people, "see" where they are, and then teleport to them.
2. Anyone who wishes to be teleported by Lockjaw must be holding on to him, i.e., Lockjaw "carries" them.

Black Bolt

Here's my MP write-up for Black Bolt, the leader of the Inhumans! This write-up reflects his Silver and Bronze Age abilities. All of Black Bolt's abilities, except for his vibratory blast (his voice), are channeled through the "tuning fork" on his head. The "fork" is actually a piece of Attilan gear that is attached to his costume.

Use the numbers below for the size of area if Black Bolt speaks:
Area  Level
11"    Whisper
39"    Normal
93"    Shout

Black Bolt Sheet Image

Notes:
1. In the comics, Black Bolt's sonic ability has a truly massive area of effect, capable of devastating cities (and later even continents or planets). Under the current MP rules, this cannot be reflected, so I gave this ability the largest area that is possible, which is 93".
