Gamma World

I had been thinking about running a new Mighty Protectors campaign but was unsure of what to run. I had already run numerous campaigns of various flavors including: WW II, Kick-Ass, Old West, Guardians of the Galaxy, Mystery Men (a la the 1999 movie).

When Gamma World popped-up on the monkeyhousegames forums as something that would translate well into MP I had an epiphany. You can read about my translation of 1st edition Gamma World into the Mighty Protectors rules at the link below:

Mad Thinker

Here's my 3.0/MP take on the Mad Thinker. Note that his androids will only stay active for 6 hours (they have 6 1-hour charges), but due to his computer brain he will have foreseen any heroes interfering with his plans and will have his androids available.

Here's my 3.0/MP write-up for the bronze age version of Loki, the earliest Avenger's villain (he showed up in no less than Avengers issue #1). The Transformation spell can be any 356 CP creature the GM can think of. Likewise, additional spell slots will need to be fleshed-out by the GM.

Ronan the Accuser

Here's my 3.0/Mighty Protectors version of the Bronze Age Ronan the Accuser. I modeled his "Universal Weapon" using Arsenal because in the comics this weapon has a large number of abilities. I left 4 slots open so that a prospective GM could insert an Ability that he or she feels Ronan needs.

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for the Bronze Age Mandarin. Note that his tenth ring is capable of much more than a single type of transmutation, but for practical reasons I gave it a single special effect of turning men into stone.

The Collector's gigantic space ship is full of creatures and artifacts that he has collected over billions of years and from throughout the universe. His ship is capable of Warp 50 (14.26 LY/hour) as well as inter-dimensional travel.

I only created one item for his huge arsenal, a blaster pistol with 12 shots, but a GM could fill it with all sorts of powerful items (force field, paralysis ray, life support, gravity abilities, etc.) to use for defense and as weapons against any super heroes that he presently wishes to collect. He has interfered with the Avengers on many occasions.

Radioactive Man

Here's a Mighty Protectors write-up of the Radioactive Man, a Marvel villain and some-times Avengers foe. Buff up the power of this villain by having him absorb some radiation into his Strength. With +40 Strength he will have a lot more Power and Hits.
