Speedy

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for Speedybased upon stats & abilities shown in DC Heroes, 2nd Edition. This version reflects his character as he was portrayed in the 1980's. You can view Speedy's Arsenal of Trick Arrows as a google sheet.

Notes:
1. His Arsenal cost exceeds his Ability Cap by 6 CPs.

Starfire

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for Starfire. Her stats & abilities are modeled on the character's portrayal in the New Teen Titans comic, issues #1-#16, published circa 1980. The New Teen Titans was co-created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.

Starfire's primary abilities are HTH combat, flight, and energy projection from her hands. She was trained for many years by the Warlords of Okaara and is considered an excellent fighter. This training also imbued her with a warrior's ethos; on several occasions she has to be talked out of killing an opponent. Although she has a much different view on life than her companions, she nevertheless acquiesces to their point of view, wishing to be their friend.

In MP terms, Starfire's flight ability is considered to be extra obvious to sight: you can see the fiery trail she leaves behind in several of the pictures below.

Her kissing Robin shows a couple of things: first, is her ability to 'absorb' languages through physical contact and secondly, her free spirit. At one point, she wonders why she has to wear a bikini to go swimming...

Raven

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for Raven. Her stats & abilities are modeled on the character's portrayal in the New Teen Titans comic, issues #1-#16, published circa 1980. The New Teen Titans was co-created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.

Here's the google sheet showing Raven's Arsenal of Spells, as well as PDFs of the MP sheets for Raven and Raven's Soul-Self.

In writing-up Raven, I went through several iterations as I tried to nail-down how best to simulate her soul-self while still spending as few CPs as possible. I tried Astral Projection but found it did not work quite right and made the overall character very CP intensive. I tried a modified version of Companion, but that too was insufficient. Ultimately, I decided that the Ability that worked best is Duplication, albeit with a couple of modifiers.

Robin the Boy Wonder

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for Robin. His stats & abilities are modeled on the character's portrayal in the New Teen Titans comic, issues #1-#16, published circa 1980. The New Teen Titans was co-created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.

Here is the google sheet showing Robin's Utility Belt, as well as PDFs of the MP sheets for Robin and his Batcycle.

7/12/16 -- I revised Robin's Abilities: I made his Vehicle part of the Titan's Tower base, saving him 10 CPs; I lowered his Experience Levels from 30 to 20 CPs, saving another 10 CPs; I changed his Heightened Defense to Physical only, saving 7 CPs, and I gave him Luck +1 for +2.5 CPs. He now totals 200 CPs, like all of the other New Teen Titans!

Kid Flash (Wally West)

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for Kid Flash. His stats & abilities are modeled on the character's portrayal in the New Teen Titans comic, issues #1-#16, published circa 1980. The New Teen Titans was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.

In issues #1 through #16, Kid Flash usually attacks in one of two ways: he punches opponents or he rotates his arms at super-speed, creating a vortex that acts like hurricane force winds. He's shown running over water, running up the sides of buildings, flying, and 'phasing' through walls. On several occasions he also states that he can't be seen due to his super-speed.

In the beginning Wally is shown as being retired from the super-hero biz, but he gets the itch to don the tights again when Raven visits him, and he remains somewhat infatuated and protective of her. Throughout these issues, however, he is shown as being unsure about remaining a superhero.

Cyborg

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for Cyborg. His stats & abilities are modeled on the character's portrayal in the New Teen Titans comic, issues #1-#6, published circa 1980. The New Teen Titans was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.

Here is the google sheet for Cyborg's Arsenal, whose slots represent the various attachments stored in his belt. When using a different slot, Cyborg must use his entire Movement phase to change out the weapon. Each weapon also draws it's PR from an internal Energy supply, not from Cyborg's Power.

Changeling

Here's my Mighty Protectors write-up for Changeling (who was formerly known as Beast Boy). His stats & abilities are modeled on the character's portrayal in the New Teen Titans comic, issues #1-#6, published circa 1980. The New Teen Titans was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez.

Modeling his shape changing powers in the Mighty Protectors rules is a bit tricky...  I ultimately decided to use Arsenal as a one-stop-shop for all of his different animal forms. At 75 points, the Arsenal cost exceeds his Ability Cap by quite a bit, but I feel it's worth it because it is by far the easiest solution to the problem of simulating his powers.

You can see a google sheets version of his arsenal here @Changelings Arsenal. I did create one of his animal shapes, an elephant. Note that every one of his animal forms should include 38 CPs of Regeneration, as shown on Changeling's character sheet. Also note that by spending just 5 xp, the number of slots in his arsenal could double from 36 to 72, which is possible with the 'Split Slots & Options' modifier found under the Arsenal ability on p. 27 of the MP rule book.
