The Linked modifier (see MP p. 92) means the hero must use 1" of movement to activate all of the abilities of the armored suit.

The suit only has so much energy before needing to be recharged. This is represented with the Shared Charges modifier (see MP p. 88). Strength does not use these charges, but Flight and Power Blast do.

Insect Hero

Next on my list of iconic superheroes is the Insect Hero!

The core abilities of this hero include: Animal/Plant Abilities, Grapnel, Heightened Senses, and Heightened Strength. The lesser abilities include: Heightened Defense and Heightened Expertise.

Suggested Animal/Plant weakness: Low Self-Control, Compulsion: must "make fun" of opponents.

Other suggested weaknesses include: Nemesis, Personal Problem: Dependent, and Poverty.

An option for the Grapnel ability is to modify it as follows: GRAPNEL: 8 break point, max 16, 3840 lbs (20), ST+AG=54" Range, 24 Charges (0), Field Reloading: 1 Action (+10),  Components: must make Wealth roll of 3+ (-10). This allows the hero to carry additional charges of Grapnel while on patrol.

The ability of the Insect Hero to detect karma at range in 360 degrees makes it almost impossible for villains to surprise him, and his superhuman stats, high defense, and good chance of hitting make him an excellent combatant.
